The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

Wednesday's Best CBB Bet

Syracuse Orange at Connecticut Huskies (-3, 139.5)

Syracuse Orange at Connecticut Huskies (-3, 139.5) odds provided by logans

How bad has it gotten for the Orange? The team has lost four straight for the first time in five seasons and also is 0-4 ATS over that span. Syracuse just hasn’t been able to successfully implement its trademark 2-3 zone defense during its losing streak.

During its run of futility, the Orange are giving up an average of 80.7 points per game. In the team’s first 18 games, it didn’t allow a single opponent to crack the 80-point barrier.

“We have to get back to trusting each other on the defensive end,” Guard Scoop Jardine said. “We stopped believing in the zone which got us to this point.”

But no part of the zone is working right. Up top, Jardine and the team’s other guards allowed Pittsburgh, Villanova, Seton Hall and Marquette to make a combined 33-of-69 three-pointers during their slide. Cuse's perimeter players aren’t the only ones at fault.

Freshman forwards Fab Melo and Baye Moussa Keita are getting bullied inside. The Orange have a total rebounding margin of minus-19 during their losing streak.

That doesn’t sound like a very good group to slow down Connecticut’s elite guards. Kemba Walker is second in the nation in scoring at 24.2 points per game and backcourt mate Jeremy Lamb has cracked double figures his past five times out, including breaking the 20-point barrier each of the past two games.

PICK: Connecticut Huskies

PICK 'N' ROLL

Wednesday's Best NBA Bets

Chicago Bulls at Los Angeles Clippers (+2, 194)

Chicago Bulls at Los Angeles Clippers (+2, 194) odds provided by logans

The toughest arena in the NBA right now might be the Staples Center. But not when the Lakers are playing hosts.

The Clippers have claimed nine straight at home, tying the third-longest mark in franchise history.

"That's the best stat," Clippers forward Blake Griffin said. "It's huge for us to protect our home court."

But Griffin is no stranger to gaudy stats. He had 32 points and 11 rebounds for his 39th double-double this season in a 105-98 win over Milwaukee earlier this week.

Overall, Griffin has been able to sustain his success without injured guard Eric Gordon because of the great post play from frontcourt mate DeAndre Jordan.

Due to Jordan’s continued emergence – he had 16 points, seven rebounds and five blocks in the victory over the Bucks – teams can’t cheat as much in the paint toward Griffin.

"It was tough with Blake Griffin in the post. He's a monster, as well as DeAndre Jordan," Milwaukee swingman Corey Maggette said. "They have two key guys that you really can't play off of. You can't get too much help from another player because they have so many different moves."

In the meantime, Chicago is 0-3 straight up and against the spread in its past three games against the Clippers.

ICE PICKS

Wednesday's Best NHL Bets

Vancouver Canucks at Phoenix Coyotes (+115, 5.5)

With both these teams playing on Tuesday night, there are sure to be weary legs on the ice. And that means the most talented team should have an edge. Hello, Vancouver.

The Canucks are 5-1-2 in the second of back-to-back games this season and are one of the toughest teams in the league. And don’t expect the team to cool off with such superior depth.

Even dealing with multiple injuries, the Canucks have called up top prospect Cody Hodgson (10 goals, 16 assists in 28 games with Manitoba) to center the team’s fourth line after he returned from a broken cheekbone he suffered in the AHL in December.

Meantime, the Coyotes have dropped four of their past six games entering the All-Star break. The team also is just 4-3-2 in the second of back-to-back games and is mediocre at home, posting a 10-9-5 record at Jobing.com Arena in the Desert.

"You know the bodies are going to be sore, but you've got to find ways to win," Winger Scottie Upshall said. "It's all about hockey, it's finding ways to get the job done. ... Thirty-one games left, it's going to be like, wow, there' 20 games left, there's 15 games, then there's 10 and then it's like you're in the playoff hunt and teams are chasing you and you're chasing teams.”

And expect the Coyotes to be chasing the Canucks all night.

PICK: Vancouver Canucks

San Jose Sharks at Anaheim Ducks (-114, 5.5)

The Sharks have taken a bite out of the competition in the Western Conference by finally finding a way to consistently put the puck in the net. San Jose has won four of its past five games by averaging 3.2 goals per game over that span.

The team’s offense has been sparked by a variety of sources. Centers Logan Couture (3 goals, 2 assists) and Joe Thornton (2 goals, 3 assists) and defenseman Dan Boyle (3 assists, plus-3) have been the key contributors to a balanced attack during that hot streak, finally making the most of a league-high 34.1 shots per game.

"We're trying to be as consistent as we can," Couture said. "We're putting together better shifts back-to-back now."

Meantime, the Ducks are trying to regain their momentum after winning 10 of 13 games over the break. Anaheim has been hot, but has fed on lesser competition, posting wins over Edmonton, Ottawa and Columbus before heading into the All-Star break.

“There’s 28 games where the points are up for grabs and there’s a lot of of competition for position obviously [with] where everybody is,” Ducks coach Randy Carlyle said. “That’s what we’ve tried to focus on … the teams that we’re playing and to take nothing for granted.”

PICK: San Jose Sharks

Bettors' Best Friend: Wednesday's Wagering Tips

TOP TRENDS

The Philadelphia 76ers are 6-1 against the spread in their last seven games.

The Toronto Raptors are 0-12 in their last 12 games and 1-6 ATS in their last seven.

The under is 5-0 in the Penguins' last five games.

The Anaheim Ducks are 7-2 in their last nine games.

North Carolina State is 0-6 ATS in its last six games.

TIPS AND NOTES

There could be more game postponements coming on Wednesday. The Raptors had to overnight in Indiana because of the weather and there's a chance their game against in Atlanta against the Hawks on Wednesday could be moved to another date. Oddsmakers opened the line with the Hawks favored by 11 and the total set at 200.

Injured Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey believes that he has a 75 percent chance of playing in Sunday’s Super Bowl against the Green Bay Packers, according to the NFL Network.
Pouncey suffered what was deemed a high left ankle sprain in the AFC Championship Game on Jan. 23, with reports surfacing that the rookie also has a broken bone in his ankle.
He was wearing a boot during Tuesday’s media day at Cowboys Stadium and could practice later in the week depending on how his treatment continues to go.
Pouncey, who has started every game to date, said Tuesday that he is set on playing and preparing as if he will. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said that he is not counting out the possibility of Pouncey playing. Oddsmakers are giving Pittsburgh between 2.5 to 3 points with the total resting at 44.5.

The Indiana Hoosiers will be without their leading scorer for Wednesday's tilt with Minnesota. Forward Christian Watford (17.0 ppg, 5.8 rpg) is out indefinitely after breaking his wrist in Sunday's overtime loss to Michigan State. BookMaker, Diamond and The Orleans in Las Vegas all list the Hoosiers as 3-point home underdogs against the Golden Golphers with the total set at 140.

Utah Jazz guard Deron Williams and forwards Paul Millsap and Andrei Kirilenko all sat out practice Tuesday due to injuries are are questionable for Wednesday night's game against the Houston Rockets.

Williams, who injured his right wrist last week and has missed three straight games, still can't participate in shootarounds but is undergoing treatment in hopes of getting his 21.9-point-per-game average back in the lineup.

Millsap suffered a dislocated finger during Monday night's game against the Charlotte Bobcats and did not return, while Kirilenko sprained his ankle earlier in the game and left the arena in a walking boot. All three are considered day-to-day. Oddsmakers list the Jazz as 2.5-point home chalk against the Houston Rockets with the total resting at 205.

The Edmonton Oilers will welcome two of their top forwards back to the lineup on Wednesday. Jordan Eberle and Ales Hemsky are both expected to be on the ice against the Los Angeles Kings, according to the Edmonton Journal.

The Oilers were going through a bit of an offensive funk before the All-Star break but their attack should be sparked with Hemsky and Eberle back and skating with the top two scoring lines.

The Oilers are +130 home underdogs and the total is set at 5.5.

There's a chance Red Wings center Pavel Datsyuk will be in the lineup Wednesday for the Wings' game against the Senators. Datsyuk, who's one of the league's best players, practiced on Monday but head coach Mike Babcock told the Detroit Free Press Datsyuk's status is still up in the air. Datsyuk (39 points in 33 games) hasn't played since he broke his right hand just before Christmas.

Oddsmakers have the Wings as -169 faves at Ottawa the total resting at 5.5.
